Adding to Hashtags’ list of accolades was the remarkable performance of Too Hot To Tag, who captured the coveted 2024 NCHA Open Futurity Championship with a stunning score of 227. Ridden by Kenny Platt, Too Hot To Tag’s victory at the NCHA Futurity is a defining moment that further displays Hashtags’ impact as a sire.

Show Biz On Broadway may be small, but she delivered big results for trainer Jimmie Annoot, winning the NCHA Limited Open Futurity finals with a 221.5 – the black mare impressed Annoot with her grit and consistency. “She’s a little tiny mare, but she doesn’t know it,” he said. “Super easy to show and just a really, really nice horse.”
Tagging His Way
Tag That Wood (Hashtags x Miss Mayzie Wood) made a statement at the NCHA Futurity, earning the title of Intermediate Open Reserve Champion. The talented horse showcased consistency throughout the competition – with a 220 in the first go and a 218 in the second, Tag That Wood entered the Open Futurity Semi-Finals towards the top of the leaderboard.

Not all of the action took place in Fort Worth. Tosten Peterson delivered an outstanding performance aboard Rhinestoned (Hashtags x Just As Reckless), bred by Russ & Janet Westfall Ranch and owned by The Oyarzun Family, posting a 222 to clinch the Cascades Futurity and Aged Event 3YO Open Championship. This pair later marked a huge 226 at the PCCHA Open Futurity in Las Vegas – this duo is poised for a lot of success in 2025.

Ridden by EJ Huntley, Dirrty Shirley claimed back-to-back titles as the 2023 NCHA Summer Spectacular Non-Pro Reserve Champion in the Derby and the 2024 Non-Pro Reserve Champion in the Classic.
